Day 3 - in Lisbon: meeting other pilgrims

After we walked to the river near another plaza.  See the first picture.
After we walked back to the cathedral where we had a date with Laurie.  She is a university professor from Illinois.  She loves Portugal and meeting other pilgrims.  She had invited other people to get together.  We met Dayton and Karen from London, Ontario.  The start walking tomorrow and have ambitious plans to go fast and far.  A Portuguese gentleman, Aurelio and a young man, Joao.  Aurelio offered to take us to the church of Santiago which is nearby but not open often and to get us a stamp for our pilgrim credential.  It was really nice of him to do that for us.
Later we walked to an outdoor cafe torn socialize.  It was a good afternoon.
Now, something I did not mentioned is that after two days of taking photos all over Lisbon I left my camera behind, probably on a bench.  So not only I lost the camera but a bunch of pictures.
Laurie knew a store recommend by Joao so she walked us there.  I have now a new camera almost identical to the one I had this morning minus the pictures.

Also it seems there are some bugs in the blogger app.  It does not seem to get along with pictures.  I am still experimenting.

In any case it is bed time.  Tomorrow we'll walk a little, may 10 km of the Camino.

Mother, Mary of Fatima pray for us peregrinos on our way to your shrine.
